5 cleaning products every dirt bike rider needs
Cleaning and washing is all part of riding dirt bikes, and thankfully, there are a number of products on the market that make it that much easier.
In this guide, we highlight five of our favourite dirt bike cleaning products.
Air Filter cleaning kits:
Cleaning your air filter thoroughly after each ride is one of the most important aspects of bike maintenance. There's a wrong way to do it (such as using fuel), and there's a right way to do it. An air filter cleaning kit includes everything you need to wash, clean, and oil your filter, ensuring it protects your bike and continues to last wash after wash.
Silicone Spray:
Basically new bike in a can! No motocross or enduro rider can go without a silicone spray. Silicone sprays are water-resistant and leaves a long-lasting luster and shine, plus it helps prevent mud and dirt build-up - making it a must for muddy days or freshly watered tracks!
Cleaner and Degreaser:
When it comes to cleaning your bike, a dirt bike wash and degreaser makes a dirty bike easy to clean. Usually sprayed on your bike before using the pressure washer, where it easily removes dirt and makes your bike look incredibly clean, even after the dirtiest of rides. Spend less time cleaning and more time riding with dirt bike-specific cleaners and degreasers!
Cleaning care pack/kit:
Dirt bike riding is dirty stuff, so you're going to need to be cleaning anything your wear out on track. Care packs/kits include key cleaning products for your bike and riding gear, such as silicone sprays, chain lube, air filter oil, and helmet cleaner and more.
Goggle cleaner:
Goggles play a pivotal role in dirt bike protection and ensuring they're kept clean and in good condition is a must. Goggle cleaner ensures your goggle lenses remain as clean as possible, all without causing any damage to the lens itself. This is a must for tinted and mirrored lenses.
