The 450 dirt bike line-up for 2021 is the best yet, with a range of the premier class motocross bikes receiving a selection of updates. 

Some models have undergone more changes than others, which we highlight in this comparison article.

2021 KTM 450 SX-F: The KTM 450 SX-F is already one of the best race-ready packages on the market, and for 2021, it's been improved even further. Then new Kato is now fitted Dunlop Geomax MX33 and comes with new graphics, while the engine has some updated components for further reliability. There are updated settings on the WP XACT fork and shock, plus the bike now has the capability to be tuned on your via the KTM Connectivity Unit.

2021 Kawasaki KX450: The Kawasaki KX450 underwent a major overhaul for year model 2019, and the 2021 bike has once again been further refined. Taking Eli Tomac to the 2020 Supercross crown, the premier class contender has a fresh graphics kit with updates to the engine, hydraulic clutch and now the addition of Renthal Fatbar handlebars

2021 Suzuki RM-Z450: The 2021 Suzuki RM-Z450 has undergone minimal changes to its rider-friendly platform for the new year model, with only a new graphics kit being the key update. The bike is known for its exceptional handling, which comes through its superior chassis and suspension package, which includes a 49mm Showa coil-spring fork based and Showa Balance Free Rear Cushion (BFRC) shock.

2021 Honda CRF450R: The biggest release for 2021 is the Honda CRF450R, which has been overhauled from the ground up. Almost everything is new on this bike, from the chassis, engine, bodywork, through to the suspension, hydraulic clutch, and a range of other features. the 2021 model also boasts a single exhaust system - a major change from the dual system Honda has become renowned for.

2021 Husqvarna FC 450: The Husqvarna FC 450 is a proven championship winner with Zach Osborne taking it to the 2020 Pro Motocross crown, and it receives a selection of upgrades for 2021. The WP XACT forks with AER technology gets a new mid-valve damping system, and the WP XACT shock has also undergone a touch up with new low-friction linkage seals. The bike can also be tuned via the Husqvarna Connectivity Unit mobile app.

2021 Yamaha YZ450F: The 2021 Yamaha YZ450F is another bike that remains relatively unchanged, largely thanks to undergoing a major update for year model 2020. The bike is fitted with a fresh graphics kit and all-blue plastics, giving the proven premier class machine a brand-new look.

2021 GasGas MC 450F: GasGas is all-new in the motocross (and enduro) world for 2021 following its acquisition by KTM. The GasGas MC450F is built on the KTM platform, so it's already a strong bike in its first edition. The MC 450F uses the XACT fork and shock, while the motor produces a staggering 62 horsepower.
