Motocross of Nations is back and we could not be more excited! Last year in 2022 at Redbud the team consisted of Mitch Evans, Hunter Lawrence, and Jett Lawrence. The boys did an incredible job taking home a respectful 3rd against a very strong field! Emotions are running high as we chase our first ever Motocross of Nations victory for Australia in 2023 with arguably one of the strongest teams on the track. We're super proud to be back on board for our third year with Team Australia as the major sponsor for the team and we can't wait to get to Ernee for this year's event in France!

Your 2023 MXoN Team Australia

For those unfamiliar with the Motocross of Nations, each country participating sends a 3 rider team to compete across 3 different races, in their 3 respective classes - MXGP, MX2 and MX Open. Each class races 2 races; MXGP & MX2, MX2 & MX Open, MXGP and MX Open. The lowest finish from the 6 total results is then discarded, and with an Olympic style scoring system for the remaining 5 results of your country's riders, the nation with the lowest cumulative score wins the trophy!

What is MXoN?

With that in mind, let's take a look at the seriously impressive group of riders representing the green and gold for the 2023 MXoN event!

Jett Lawrence

We'd be lying if we said we weren't coming in with high expectations after Jett's dominant performance in the Pro Motocross winning every single moto of the 2023 season! Jett had a perfect rookie season for his 450 debut in the outdoors and is arguably the biggest name in motocross today. We are stoked to see Jett make his return for Team Australia at this year's Motocross of Nations with Jett returning to ride in the MXGP class.

Hunter Lawrence

History was made after both brothers (Hunter Lawrence and Jett Lawrence) won their classes of the 2023 Pro Motocross season! Winning the 250 Pro Motocross Championship on board his CRF250R, Hunter will compete on the same bike at this year's event. After a successful year, we are hoping for big things and we are also very excited, to say the least. Hunter is no stranger to the Motocross of Nations, having previously represented Australia in 2017, 2018, and 2022 events, with extremely good results! This year we will see Hunter return to the MX2 class for the 2023 MXoN!

Dean Ferris

After winning the 2023 Australian Motocross Championship, Ferris joins the Lawrence brothers as the third and final rider for Team Australia! All 3 riders are in perfect form coming into this year's MXoN coming off Championship wins. Ferris is no stranger to MXoN with the 2023 season marking his 7th appearance for Team Australia with previous rides in 2010, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2019! Ferris will ride in the MX Open class and we have high hopes he will be a strong competitor.

TV Coverage

Last year we were spoilt with live coverage on Stan Sport. Is there anything this year that you know of, I can find any mention anywhere. It would be a travesty not to have live vision for this one.

Hey mate, it does look like Stan Sport will be the channel to tune in to for live coverage this year!
