World Supercross x MXstore Partnership
We are stoked to announce our 2022 partnership with the FIM World Supercross (WSX) Championship. There is no doubt that the WSX crew are determined to help change, evolve, and grow the sport, so it was a no brainer to team up with a bunch of legends setting out to achieve incredible goals! The WSX team has announced that 2022 is their pilot year, so don't worry the racing, the riders, and the championship are only going to get better over the coming years. We can't wait to witness the evolution of Supercross and watch the sport grow!
What is World Supercross?
World Supercross is exactly what it sounds like, showcasing the sport of Supercross and taking it all around the world! "WSX is supercross, supercharged!" Designed to bridge the gap between fans globally to allow everyone to watch and support the incredible live-action motorsport. The aim is to gain new fans and allow current fans to see some of the best riders in the world all in their own country. Featuring 10 international teams with each team consisting of 4 riders. WSX will host 40 of the world’s best racers, in premium stadiums battling it out for World Championship glory. With $250,000 in prize money per round, there is an epic incentive for the riders to leave no stone unturned. When you think about it, it's hard not to smile when you combine elite racing, freestyle motocross, live music, and entertainment in some of the best stadiums in the world all to create the ultimate fan experience.
2022 Schedule:
For the 2022 pilot season, there are 2 Championship Rounds:
- Round 1: British GP - Cardiff (Principality Stadium - 8th October)
- Round 2: Australian GP - Melbourne (Marvel Stadium - 21st & 22nd October)
For 2023 WSX is coming back with a global schedule of up to 12 Championship Rounds! (Locations to be confirmed)
What’s on in Melbourne - Round 2:
Round 2 of WSX is also hosting the first round of the Australian Supercross Championship on Friday the 21st of October. Creating the ultimate dirt battlefield for Australians and the fans that travel from around the world to witness two days of unmissable racing for both the Australian Supercross Championship and the World Supercross Championship. On top of the racing action, WSX will have live entertainment from Peking Duk and Bliss n Eso, Freestyle Motocross, and much more!

There are many elite riders signed to race in the WSX Championship. Riders like Supercross Champion and Australian legend Chad Reed, current Supercross Champion Eli Tomac, Germany's Ken Roczen, and 4 Time Australian Supercross Champion Justin Brayton to name a few. MXstore Activation:
We will be in Melbourne supporting both the Aus SX and the WSX with the MXstore VIP experience and an exclusive track walk for some lucky fans! We will also have a pit presence with a bunch of goodies to give away, so make sure you come and say hello to the team under the MXstore tent!
