The new BLACK LOAM series pants from Ballard’s Offroad promises to deliver high levels of durability, comfort and function at an outstanding price!

Designed in Australia by Geoff Ballard (GB) After years of trying different styles, materials and features. Ironically this whole idea of making some riding gear had all originated from just a basic few questions that he’d presented to some riding mates. “What's your biggest disappointments in the gear you’ve been wearing in the past?"

From there GB started some plans adding his personal gripe that it was not easy to take along a phone. He always liked taking one to capture crazy antics or to simply just be there as a safety device. After some thought he figured the quickest, easiest and safest area that carrying your phone was actually right in front of you! No twisting around your bumbag or wrestling with your shoulder straps to get to your pockets. Especially if injured!

GB has moto’d many days including racing the 4 day A4DE and always had his phone in place, and no dramas or even discomfort. ”It really just sits there, you don’t even notice it!”

Testing has also taken place in the tough world of Hard Enduro. Extensive training and racing behind the bars of Silver and Gold medal riders Timon Wegner and Jon Gatt. Phones were sometimes replaced with energy gels via the easy access front pocket. After a few small and final development changes, the excellent feedback prevailed. “I think we’re now ready for the market!”
