XTREAD LOW PROFILE REAR TYRE

The X Tread Lowey (Low Profile) Tyre was designed with one main goal in mind and that was to help lower the seat height of any dirt bike that runs an 18” tyre, all in an effort to give the rider a better chance of touching the ground and helping with their confidence! It runs a mid/soft pattern that will perform well in most ‘all-round’ conditions. 

We suggest just a couple of other things to help put a smile on your face at the end of the day and that is.

• 1: To help balance the bike have an experienced mechanic look at pulling the front forks up and through the triple clamps to their maximum height.
• 2: use a heavier-duty tube (Stock tubes are about 1.3mm and we suggest 2mm and around 3.50-4.1” would fit well) and help prevent any flat tyres. 

Most 110-18” tyre profiles (sidewall heights) are similar to most stock 110-18” tyres on the market, so we have shown a common tyre here as a comparison to the Lowey, which is 66mm so 1/2 of that will equate to the difference in your seat height, so for this example, it would lower the seat by a substantial 33mm!
