2024 Ride More Weekend - Gap Creek Moto
Join us for the first MXstore Ride More Weekend! A mega fun weekend of recreational riding, featuring free coaching sessions, novelty games, giveaways, demo bikes, trade stalls, entertainment, camping, and a whole lot of good times with family and friends at Gap Creek Moto, Queensland. Come along for a jam-packed day of fun on Saturday 27th April 2024, or stay the whole weekend and ride more! Ride More Weekends are about having fun while riding bikes! We want to bring riders together to build the moto community by partnering with brands that share the same vision and supporting the clubs and tracks that make it all possible!
Friday 26th April, 2024
Rock up Friday for an extra day of riding, Gap Creek Moto will be open as normal, camp overnight and let the good times get going.
The games begin on Friday evening with the Show N Shine. Make sure to bring your bikes along for display for your chance to win a bunch of prizes from Vuplex and Dirtlab. Thanks to Stacyc we'll have films on the big screen from sunset, so bring your bean bag or camp chair and enjoy some free popcorn!
Saturday 27th April, 2024
Saturday is the main event! A coffee van will be set up and serving from sunrise and the tracks open from 8:00 am. Our mates at Cassons are bringing a bunch of fun activities to the village. Check out the Silkolene bowling, Bell helmet toss, the Renthal handlebar novelty comp, and Ogio-kid-in-a-bag race to get the laughs flowing!
Ride laps all day long, but don't miss all the action on Saturday:
- Ladies and kids only 30-minute track sessions are designed to provide a safe and encouraging environment for less confident riders to make sure that everyone gets a chance to ride the various tracks at their own pace.
- Corey Creed and the crew of big air maniacs will shoot to the sky at the next level track on Saturday afternoon!
- Have a bike issue? Visit GB's workshop, a self-service tent set up with the tools you need to keep you spinning laps on the track
Then relax and finish the day in the village as we enjoy the Another Legacy Tug of War, music and good vibes, then unwind whilst watching a movie under the stars!
Free Lessons
Dee's Moto Academy will host skills and drills training sessions to tune up your technique so you can ride safely with style and speed! Each session will focus on attack position, seated position, braking, and jumping, we aim to build confidence and hone riding skills to create safer riders. Bike Demo's
We’re stoked to have Stacyc bringing a few of their bikes including the 12 and 16-inch e-bikes, so riders from 3 years old can come and test out the latest bikes!
Australian Electric Motor Co. and Mid Coast Moto are bringing riders the rare opportunity to test the raw power and unparalleled ride of the Stark VARG. Even better news, they've decided to waive the usual $100 demo fee exclusively for attendees of this event! Make sure to SIGN UP to secure your test ride, limited spots are available!
Test Yourself
Put your skills to the test by competing in some challenges for your chance to win! The fastest time on the Terraforce Turns Test wins a set of Mitas Tyres, you'll be getting that power to the ground with your fresh rubber. Push the limits of your skills and flexibility by seeing how low you can go in the POD Rut Limbo to win a set of POD knee braces (pit bike and big bike classes), then push your limits and technique with the SBS Go To Woah to win a new set of SBS Brake Pads.
Pit Bike Challenge
Love Pit Bikes? Us too! Don’t miss the novelty Pit Bike Challenge at 4pm, all in the name of fun and good times! Roll up with a 110cc pit bike and ride! Bring a mate and ride 2 laps each relay style, swap the coloured scrunchy and maybe even the bike, if you've only got 1 bike between 2 that's okay too. Thanks to the crew at MiniRacer there are some epic prizes on the line, get involved because it's all about having fun!
Wild Wheelies
Wild Wheelies are bringing 2x wheelie training machines to learn and perfect your wheelie technique! Sessions will be running on two machines, one will have their MX bike supplied, or use your own bike on the other machine, learn to ride safe using this awesome equipment hosted in the Ride More Weekend Village.
Ballards Offroad Group Enduro Loop
Rock up at the Ballards workshop tent at 10 am for a group ride exploring the enduro trails led by Ballards ambassador Max.

Why does Saturday cost more?
We are aiming to make this new event affordable and fun for all riders. We have packed as many activities as possible into Friday evening and Saturday, which means there’s a premium price for participants and spectators for Saturday only.
*Rider fees on Friday and Sunday are standard Gap Creek Moto fees. Camping fees remain normal but there is a two-night minimum stay as it is a long weekend. Camping is also available at the next door property, Bestbrook Mountain Farmstay
